Gatlinburg Biking

Bicycling in the Smoky Mountains is a pleasant activity. In the Great Smoky Mountains National Park cycling is permitted a couple times a week on the 11 mile loop around Cades Cove with out cars. The Cades Cove loop offers visitors great opportunities to see wildlife and old homesteads. Gatlinburg has a couple of other biking options available for the beginner to the more experienced. Located at the end of Gatlinburg off River Road is a small off road trail. On Highway 321 in Gatlinburg there is a newly constructed bike route. Another Gatlinburg cycling option is located in the Arts and Crafts Community on Glades Road and down old highway.
